capsule one regenerative vintage

The regenerative vintage collection borne from the collaboration between the multi-disciplined designer Beth Miles of Grange Home, and stylist and vintage curator, Judith Soto of LaliSimone. Their shared vision and passion for modern, circular and luxurious style is evident in each piece.

With a nod to the past and a gaze towards the future, Capsule One features must-have investment pieces that are as bold and striking, as they are seasonally transitional and transcendent.
A celebration of regenerative materials; a statement about the urgency of circularity and the reminder of the importance of our cultural armor—that which protects,
warms and holds the potential to heal our planet.

Everyday Objets

mixed media pieces by Beth Miles

See the most recent additions to the series of original mixed media watercolor and charcoal works from Beth Miles’ upcycled sketchbook.
Framed in Walnut, from a local supplier,
these work together as a story of all the useful,
everyday items that give our lives texture and
enrich us in one way or another.
Beautiful as solo pieces, as well.

Painted on pages of a vintage copy of Pencil Points, an architectural journal from 1920 - 1940’s, the medium wrinkles the page, like a well worn book and reminds us of that mingles with the subject at hand.

Artwork

I Sketch Therefore I am.

Sketching (and doodling) is my first love, but it has extending into painting—watercolors grounded in charcoal and often on pages of text.
Layering my work on the pages of books began as a result of me leaving my sketchbook at home while on a weekend trip to the coast. I did have a rather dull book with me, as fate would have it.
With no where to turn, I started to sketch and paint within the pages of the book whose words could not keep my attention. The rest is … these cards and more!

I curared two sets of cards—-to keep for yourself or to send to your friends. One set holds some favorite Ferry Building Farmer/s Market finds;
the second is a collection of objects that make my life work, in some fashion. Send a few, keep a few. Whatever feels right.

Printed locally on post consumer waste paper with soy based inks.
