Construct your own Eight-Days-A-Week Journal, and let’s work in community.
You might even think of it as a party, soiree or a grand fête—however you frame it, let’s start.
Ready, set, start!
Our initial meeting: We begin with a blank sheet of watercolor paper (on the larger size), from which we create an eight-day sketch pad on which to begin your journaling.
Cast aside your pen and pick up a brush and your watercolors (and maybe some pencil and charcoal).
What we achieve: In our time together we explore what inspires, new techniques and a willingness to walk away from any pre-conceived ideas about what it means to be an artist. You leave our time together, equipped with the tools to develop your daily practice as well as with the opportunity to meet again and continue the practice and community-building.
Who’s invited: Open to all levels; work in community to inspire and stretch your creative expression.
Future Gatherings: With the chance to meet again, we return to your, hopeful, stack of “Eight-Days-A-Week” journals. Together, we learn how to bind and connect the week’s into a handmade book made of interesting, upcycled (and beautiful) materials—one that will grow with you, and your practice.
“Our work together demonstrates the power of creation and how, as a meditative process, it centers and builds a more resilient you.”

Same idea but different format—we love a Sketch (text)book!
The perfect way to just get started! Choose from a curated assortment of beautiful vintage books, and build your visual journal with the book’s text as background. Reflect on the history, language and topics, layering your own visual history in concert.
A great way, with very few barriers, to beginning your daily practice!
